Last year, I was asked to take part in a fabulous styled shoot which, as you can already see, turned out to be absolutely divine.

Kayleigh at Styled by Starlet approached me to help create a striking scene, influenced by Imperial Russia but with a modern twist.

With such a visually strong theme, I was so excited to organically create bold, regal hair styles with plenty of dramatic texture. Because if there’s one thing I love to deliver, it’s certainly a dramatic edge!

I crafted three stunning up-do’s totally free-hand, and the super-talented Danielle Guiden worked her magic creating a make-up look to suit the tone perfectly…

One of my favourite parts of this shoot was getting to work with such sparkling beauties from jewellery and accessory gurus Glitzy Secrets. Like a magpie, I love all things shiny, and I was totally mesmerised by their jewelled hair pieces and decadent pieces. They make for the ultimate finishing touches and I can’t wait to style with them again in the future.

With dresses from Hagley Bridal Studio looking stunning against the backdrop of Birmingham wedding venue Austin Court, this shoot has such an effortlessly powerful vibe about it. It’s one that never fails to make me feel proud.

It was even picked up by Your West Midlands Wedding Magazine – and it’s easy to see why from TH Photography’s beautiful images …

It was brilliant to be a part of such a highly-styled shoot with such beautiful details. To say I’m delighted with the end result would be a bit of an understatement!
